A clear standard.

This is a development preview. The learning app has a small set of published Levantine lessons; the wider curriculum and reviewed human audio are still being built.

Published lessons link to their sources, pass validation and require owner approval. Further language review is planned. This is not a claim of native-expert or scholarly review.

Before you begin.

Which languages can I study?

Arabic is our flagship, rooted in Palestinian everyday life. French and Khmer are planned. Course entries show whether published lessons are available; planned courses have no release date.

Can I study more than one course?

Yes. Choose courses and a primary course in Study settings. Your daily goal is shared across courses, with separate progress. Short goals rotate courses across days; manual study remains available. Switching the viewed course does not change your primary course.

Which Arabic will I learn?

Our first course focuses on urban Palestinian Levantine Arabic. Jordanian alternatives are labeled where included. Modern Standard Arabic and Quranic Arabic tracks are planned.

Do I need to read Arabic already?

You can keep transliteration visible and reveal English help whenever you need it. The initial course is for people who already know a little Arabic. Alphabet and reading bootcamps are planned.

How much time should I set aside?

Core lessons are designed for short sessions of around five to seven minutes. Choose a daily goal of 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes when you enter the learning app.

Is Ismi free?

The planned invite-only beta will be free. Core lessons, explanations, retries, review and downloaded core lessons belong to the free learning floor. Future subscription details are undecided.

Do I need an account?

You can also start learning as a guest. An account supports durable and cross-device lesson progress; review history currently stays on your device.

Can I study offline?

Download supported core lessons while connected, then complete them offline. Completion syncs when you reconnect. Your first visit and any future AI conversation feedback require internet access.

Who creates and checks the lessons?

Lessons link to source records, pass deterministic checks and require owner approval before publication. AI assists within those source boundaries. Native-speaker review is still planned; we do not claim expert or scholarly approval.

Can I listen to the lessons?

Reviewed human recordings are planned. In the learning app, browser or device voices are labeled as previews where recordings are absent.
